A ton of Blessing The Hogs news

San Francisco's Blessing The Hogs are scheduled to enter the studio on February 22, 23, and 24 to record four new tracks for Goodfellow Records. Goodfellow will be re-releasing the band's debut CD with the four new tracks, a remastering, and new artwork. Two of the new tracks will be covers of early hardcore/punk favorites. Look for the CD, which is untitled at this point, in early/mid Spring. As we reported late last year, Blessing The Hogs has signed a multi-record deal with Prosthetic Records (Lamb Of God), but look for a "formal" announcement in mid-February. Prosthetic is scheduled to release the band's label debut (possibly an enhanced CD) in July or August. Following the release, the band will embark on a four week tour of the East Coast. They are currently in negotiations with a booking agency, which will assist in tour logistics. In the meantime, look for BTH on February 16th in Santa Cruz with Lickgoldensky, and on April 5th with Coalesce at the Pound in San Francisco. The band will also be playing four shows with Playing Enemy in April. In related news, BTH is scheduled to enter Shark Bite Studios in Oakland, CA sometime in late March or early April to record ten new tracks and one bonus track for a Japanese release, label to be announced.
