Bridge Nine Records signs Cruel Hand
Bridge Nine Records has added Maine's Cruel Hand to their roster. The group has previously released an album 6131 Records. Bridge Nine owner Chris Wrenn comments: "We couldn't be more stoked that Cruel Hand decided to go full-time. They're incredible musicians and they're so tight and powerful live that it was a no-brainer that we team up with them. We've been watching them for a while and harassing their guitarist Nate Manning shortly after we started seeing them play, so we're so happy to finally welcome them to the family. And the demos they sent us are insane. It's a lesson in how metal-influenced hardcore should sound. We can't wait for this fall." Cruel Hand will begin recording a new full-length on July 6th with engineer Jay Maas (Verse) and the effort will be available this fall. In the meantime, you can listen to some of their older material here.
