I was the first to bring this band up on the board post 2006. Reboot? Rebandboot? Goobus https://catalystrecords.bandcamp.com/album/cr006-day-of-suffering-the-eternal-jihad

You ever hear Sennacherib?

I have not

After DoS featuring a few members, more morbid Angel influence. This two song came out around the time of rain in endless fall and all the other NC metalcore. https://tribunalrecords.bandcamp.com/album/beyond-a-wall-of-fire

sennacherib was pretty heavy, like 50 lbs heavier than me

Def the cornerstone of NCs metalcore. Catharsis was always a little more reclusive and didn't play quite as many shows in the whole teenage metal hardcore scene. Probably the whole NC college rock/college music scene imho? Zegota was like that too

They've come up in my interviews a few times with people from down south. Carolinians as well as Floridians.

Pretty sure, in Nc without DoS, you'd maybe gotten Undying… but PFC, From Here On, Bloodjinn, etc etc etc … maybe not so much.
