Death metal on a telecaster

AnalButt 4 days ago
Does this exist? I'm in a late 80s-early 90s country phase right now

I know this is an acoustic guitar but this riff through multiple effects pedals and a pinch harmonic randomly thrown in https://youtu.be/GwOfWwo5WIw?si=JS5mMPVBpcJ1yOLj

Not death metal, but heavy AF - Ryan from Engineer used a tele...at least live & probably on most or all of their records. They all got that twang.

Look, I'll listen to country but not shit like engineer

as long as you have a humbucker at the bridge, im pretty sure teles have a 25.5" neck perfect for downtuning

not quite death metal but dysrhythmia - barriers and passages has quite the twangly tone

Dysrhythmia is bad ass. Good call

i think ive seen martin schirenc of pungent stench play a tele, but all the electronics have to be changed to make the dm tone

I've never vibed with any tele I've played. But tons of great bands have guitar players who play teles. I dunno man.
