I used to bite my nails, then one day i just decided "this is f*ckin' stupid" and i quit. Now i have to keep nail clippers in my car, in my desk, in my overnight bag...f*ckin' hell.

In high school my family cat was walking through the gate in between our backyard and from yard and the wind shut it on him. He couldn't urinate for some reason and the vet gave him a mix of Valium and fish oil and he could piss again but he would sit in the living room and bit hit nails. He'd even yelp when he bit down too far.
