i remember my friend's mom brought a group of us camping in michigan. i think we were 14, probably going in to the 9th grade. so we went to the mall in the nearby town and my friend really wanted that brand new Cannibal Corpse - The Bleeding album, but i guess you had to be 16 or 18 to buy it. we got the friend's mom who brought us to buy it, along with Pantera - Cowboys from Hell......the Bleeding has a very tame album cover compared to other CC albums so it didn't seem too bad to her i guess. but then later she looks at the song titles and is VERY concerned and sickened by "f*cked with a knife" and a few others. i think she wanted to throw it in the garbage but she couldn't really because it wasn't hers. so when we got back home she tells my friend's mom that she bought this album and it's not appropriate and all this......so when she she asks him to see the album he tells her it was the Cowboy From Hell album, which is not very offensive. she never even knew about the Cannibal Corpse! hehehe, he really got one over on those moms ok, that's it. that's the end of the story

i remember all this very well for some reason, we spent the whole week splashing around in lake huron, cooking hotdogs on the fire and listening to Entombed - Wolverine Blues, Cannibal Corpse - The Bleeding, Pantera - Cowboys from Hell and NOFX - Liberal Animation. it was magical!
