A sad day in my household. It's probably the movie we've watched the most, other than Titanic. Took my wife and son to see the showings cinemark did almost a decade ago. We had watched this movie a lot and my wife started laughing during the "he's bringing a chef…..a n****r chef" scene and it was really embarrassing

The book is great, but so is the movie. Lurk says all Kubrick movies suck, although he just heard of him two weeks ago

they all suck, outside of a few shot styles. we don't need to go into again. i have not enjoyed any of his movies. and yes the shining book is way better. dont be dumb.
