There is no difference between Meshuggah and Static X

B__DAWG 38 minutes ago if i were to make a list of my top albums of all time (i'm not going to) theres an outside chance Chaosphere would crack the top 10, maybe the top 25, but definitely the top 50. that's pretty GOOD Chaosphere is my favorite Meshuggah, by far, and would put in my top 25 hypothetical list as well.

Nothing > Chaosphere fight me

I do get a bit of nu-metal vibe from Meshuggah but you can't compare them to Static X

dude don't take the bait. lol.

toxicnacho 1 day ago they're both pretty bad but at least static-x is goofy enough to enjoy. Sonic Youth fan picks Static-X over Meshuggah... Not even "rational gaze" dude?

the true test is can meshuggah sing no ding dong and get up on that Wisconsin death trip?

I just hate that style of metal or whatever. Sure. Meshuggah are genre defining but everything that's followed it has pretty much made me null and void of appreciation for it. This is coming from someone who was once stoked for Obzen.

i still don't know what djent is. i haven't really looked into it

I'm cool with After the Burial. Mentioned that before. Real competent musicians. The rest of it.. blehh
