RAMONES - 53rd and 3rd
that's probably one of the best songs i ever heard
then i pulled out my razor blad and i did what god forbade now the cops are after me but i proved that i'm no SISSY f*ckin' dee dee ramone........that guy musta been tough as sh it
you gotta be pretty TOUGH to be a gay prostitute in 1970s NYC, i would imagine
dee dee woulda f*cking SLICED you up so bad
This isn't related at all, but don't you think this song was pretty weird to be on tv in 1966?
not ramones, don't care
were the Ramones not cool where you grew up, simon belmont? everyone was obsessed with The Ramones when i was a teenager
We didn't listen to sissy punk. We listened to HARDCORE
I think most of my friends and me came at it more from metal. Pantera and then things like Helmet and stuff. No one really listened to punk in jr high. Not that I know of. Maybe someone did.
hmmmm....my area seemed to be a nice mixture of death metal and punk, which i'm grateful for. no body liked earth crisis
well some people probably did, victory records was right there
Maybe it is location. Albany had some real tough bands too. Like Stigmata and Dying Breed. Tough guy shit. I don't recall there be any punk bands. I'm sure there were, but that wasn't really the thing I guess.
people that skateboarded and listened to charles bronson and los crudos didn't like victory records. it wasn't too cool

That's because they were scared of getting beat up. I once saw the dwarves at the troubadour in like 2002 and some guys I went with were like, yeah! That's a real mosh pit! Wheeeeew doggy. It was the dopiest idiots all just running in a circle, smelling like shit and looking like shit.
