If Deadguy were signed to AmRep instead of Victory, would we think of them more as noise rock than hardcore? In Unsane were signed to Victory instead of AmRep would we think of them as a hardcore band instead of a noise rock band? I don't know that I believe that. Those Victory Style comps reached a lot of people. Victory was the biggest hardcore label at that time and that was the classic roster of that label. I think because they were on Victory they did get the retrospective attention. On AmRep they probably would have been just another short lived band.
