but 3rd on a tour like this i feel is usually for an up and comer. now vogel has to be like "heyyyyy who's excited for other bands!" and some kid will be like "i hope KL plays counting worms so i can tik tok it!"

ej 1 minute ago Inkongudunk 1 minute ago Bad post, fella i'm not complaining about the bands in front of them I meant that for the "northfromhere" dude

he said he got yelled at for stagediving at a Fugazi show and he's never liked them since. is that interesting?

Inkongudunk 7/6/2022 1:33:25 PM
I saw terror open for stretch Armstrong and after they played Vogel was like, ok guys, please stick around for stretch. All you leaving, hey, you guys, stick around and dance

there's no up and comer there except maybe that first bunch of sluts. Knocked Loose has already arrived and have a big fan base deserving of headlining if the two bands beneath them give it the go.

Some sluts open, some sluts headline. Either way, the sluts will put on a show

again, not complaining about knocked loose

its been too long since ive seen Terror

but if you put Terror on right before Knocked Loose, the crowds gonna be pretty dead. Dying Fetus has some sick jams, their jams are unbelievable, but they're a pretty boring watch. You're gonna need those cargo short clad masses hydrated and topped up if they're gonna get real wild for the headliner.

I've probably seen terror more than any other band, they play very frequently in orange county. As cliche as it sounds, scott has always come off as a pretty genuine guy that really wants to help young hardcore bands succeed and that's admirable

Also dying fetus is the only dm band I've seen crowd killing for. They may not be moving a lot on stage but their crowds are pretty violent

I mean let's just think strategically here... you got 500 little lurks and lurkettes headbanging and push moshing to the heavy songs they've heard on SiriusXM, you can't have em run down the hill and blow their load to the first big thing, you gotta make em patient, make em learn, make em love it with the suspense of it all. Otherwise they just end up leaving early and making bad posts on the internet.

RAGINGFUCKMAN 7/6/2022 1:46:21 PM
you've seen much tamer shows than i have, thats for sure.

lake_flaccid 7/6/2022 1:50:07 PM
Violent was not necessarily the right word, mean-spirited maybe? Either way you're probably right, I'm a good deal younger and haven't seen any bad luck 13 type shenanigans. The east coast just seems harder in general.

It's like seeing cattle decapitation with scars of tomorrow.
