I have grown to love that last Eyehategod album, even though it is their weakest to date. I feel Mike IX shined the hardest on it but the band didnt play up to his strength. Either way Ive been jamming it a lot and finding more to love about it.

@unvisitedgrave Thy Catalfalque is a fave. Remember hearing Neath Waters off the Todu ido Tarlat album 15 years ago, if willing to invest 18 minutes it's worth a listen. Tsitsushka is a great rec, had country, edm, and metal fans all enjoying that one in a shared playlist. Mayfield track was intriguing rec, will have to check out more of her stuff. @steelpanda I'm torn on Emperor IX Equilibrium vs Prometheus. Ihsahn's solo stuff hasn't aged well for me though: Samoth definitely grounded him to some extent. I have that Imperial Live Ceremony DVD somewhere, thanks for the reminder. Posting a track from my namesake, Sentenced mixed Atheist with an early 90s Scandinavian sound. https://youtu.be/QbYQEGWTAis
