let's get ripped and tell everyone what we are watching. girl and i are getting started on dunkirk. gonna try to get through nightmare 5 and avengers. (she wants me to watch all these marvel movies and i am doing it to appease her) but we will probably just watch what I wanna watch and do avengers tom.

i do have to say that iron man 1 and 2 are fantastic. the rest so far is medicre. not bad. not good.

I'm going to be honest, I really don't like Marvel movies. Deadpool was okay, X-Men Apocalypse was GREAT, but aside from those two, it's like they are all trying to be cinematic masterpieces. I've never even saw the entirety of Guardians of the Galaxy. When I think superheroes, I want to see superheroes doing superhero shit. Shit coming out of their hands, explosions, them power ranger flipping every time they get hit like they are in a 90s movie. I don't want to sit and watch characters written for a 13 year old, shooting off one liners. I don't want to see an origin story I've see 100xs that will be noncannon in a few years due to the universe changing directions. At least with DC it's somewhat interesting and the characters, in my opinion, have more depth. Everything they're coming out with nowadays is well done. I gobble that shit up like a bag of dicks that's about to spoil, with bated breath. Except for the Joker movie. That movie is shittier than an evening with tubgirl.

There was only one good scene in that whole movie, the one where he pops Robert DeNiro on live TV. Todd Phillips needs to go back to comedies like Road Trip.
