2X4 'Dark Hand' EP stream
Oklahoma metalcore band 2X4 streams their new EP, Dark Hand.
Durant, Oklahoma metal/hardcore outfit 2X4 will release a new EP titled Dark Hand tomorrow, July 30th. This will be the second EP from the band, which originally formed in 2009.
Dark Hand was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Josh Schroeder at Random Awesome Studio and even though metalcore isn't currently the most poular kid on the block, so to speak, the band is cool with that:
"Even if what we play isn't the most popular thing out right now, we're going to make the music that we want. We never want to be considered fake."

The catchiness of their previous music "Dead Days" really got me into 2X4. I wasn't impressed with their single "Entombed".. I believe in this band and this EP took a little getting used to, definitely a grower not a shower, but absolutely a terrific band to listen to while working out. This band can go far if they play their cards right. Nice guys.

How do you explain Sworn In, For The Fallen Dreams, The Acacia Strain, Emmure, and Attila? This sad excuse for "hardcore" is no f*cking different. Just because you wear a cowboys jersey in your promo and act like a f*cking wigger doesn't make you a real hardcore band.
