Jacob Bannon and Wear Your Wounds stream an unreleased track.
By now, you've likely heard of
Wear Your Wounds, the project headed by Converge frontman Jacob Bannon, and featuring assistance from guitarist Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord, Stomach Earth), drummer Chris Maggio (Sleigh Bells, Trap Them, Coliseum), and Sean Martin (Hatebreed, Cage, Kid Kudi, Twitching Tongues).
However, if you've yet to encounter WYW, their output is described as "emotional songs that call to mind the slower, more epic leanings of Converge, as well as [Bannon's] previous work in Supermachiner." Hopefully that sounds good to you. Regardless, their debut album album will hit streets on April 7 through Deathwish (you can pre-order it
here).
Today, we're pleased to premiere an unreleased Wear Your Wounds track titled "Arthritic Heart." The song is an exclusive flexi track from our friends at
New Noise Magazine. Head
here to obtain the 88-page issue, the cover of which is a collaboration with photographer Reid Haithcock and Bannon, featuring a clear/gold flexi disc of the song. Listen below.
