Ephel Duath "Black Prism" song premiere

Lambgoat premieres a track from Ephel Duath's new EP, On Death and Cosmos.

After fulfilling their contract with Earache Records in 2009, Italian progressive metal band Ephel Duath disappeared for a bit. In 2011, songwriter and guitarist Davide Tiso announced that he had assembled a new Ephel Duath lineup and signed a deal with Agonia Records.

Boasting a formidable roster of Tiso, vocalist Karyn Crisis, bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Death, Autopsy, Testament), and drummer extraordinaire Marco Minnemann (Adrian Belew, Necrophagist, Kreator), Ephel Duath hit the studio to record a new EP titled On Death and Cosmos.

Today, we're extremely thrilled to exclusively premiere a track from the EP. The song is called "Black Prism" and you can listen to it right now:

One Death and Cosmos will hit streets via Agonia Records on June 21st in Europe and on August 14th in North America. Be sure to check out Ephel Duath on Facebook.

Sounds like Pseudo jazz bullshit..my grand mother falling from the stairs would be heavier.

Sounds real good. Karyn's vocals are great, very controlled and refined. Overall they sound really mature.

very good. my favourite album remains TPP, but this is way better compared to the last weak album.

Beautifully written and perfectly executed! True emotion portrayed. All of these musicians are well versed and play great with one another. I can't wait for the rest to be unveiled!

Brutally beautiful to hear to convergence of 2012ED\,,/ The experimentation. The intensity of the drum/low end combo, Davide's melancholy, spirit evoking cries and ultimately, the vox from Karyn. After a 6 year hermitage, we feel searing & tearing agression and pain atop complex notes, and harsh delivery. All intended. Never convoluted. Purity inate and real. ~joarel666, SADUS Valley Of Dry Bones
