Varials "Savage" video premiere
Philadelphia down-tempo hardcore collective Varials unveil a new music video.Thursday, July 16, 2015 2:12 PM PT / 9,577 views
Remember two months ago when we posted about a naked guy tearing up a Pennsylvania mosh pit? Well, the band playing during that infamous video was Philadelphia hardcore/metal outfit Varials. Not only that, but they were filming the show for a music video. That video has since been completed, and today we're premiering it for you below.
The band had this to say about the experience: "May 9th, 2015 was hands-down to date the best show of our lives. It had every factor of the hardcore scene that anyone could desire. Aggression, violence, passion, togetherness and the controlled chaos of the entire night was honestly and truly 'Savage'. That is why it's only fitting that we bring you a live video for that song that shows our scene representing the music we make."
The song comes from the band's latest EP, Failure // Control, which was released in late April. If you like heavy music, buy it. And if you want to experience Varials live for yourself, they'll be on tour with I AM in September. Dates can be found below or via the band's Facebook.

When they replaced Ducky's wang with a duck. I died tbh.
so what I'm gathering is you don't write music for yourselves, you just write music to see people limp bizkit break stuff all night. #togetherness
Even though it wont happen, but i wish these new jack nerds went to a Blood for Blood show in Boston to see what "hardcore" and "moshing" is. Id love to see them throw punches and windmill kick there. Mom will have to take the minivan to scoop em all up. Yup, its official, im getting old.
Just a bunch of little bitch wanna be Recon cover gays. Recon ruled, this band sucks.
What a bunch of f*ck boy losers! This band is nothing new. They'll die out after a few years with this attitude.
Also we should be giving the naked dude the attention he deserves not this shitty Metalcore band
"Blah blah blah this band sucks" "blah blah blah these kids aren't hard" Awesome video, awesome song.
If it wasn't for the naked Mosher acting immature with swinging his fists, this band would be no where. Don't support this band. I've seen them live a few times and they claim to support the scene but bail and leave after there done playing. The vocalist gets but thrust if you don't stick around and support his band but it's ok if they leave after they're done playing. f*ck this band!
Am i watching a music video or a Flyers game?
All I hear is blegggghhhhhhhhh What is this nonsense?
how many people said "woooooooooooo!" on this night ?
"Im gunna wear my hockey jersey to show I like hockey, I heard the singer likes hockey and might wear his hockey jersey tonight. Are you gunna ear your hockey jersey?" "No I only have this hockey shirt to show how much I like hockey so Im gunna ear that." "Ok."#Hockey
best looking / best sounding upcoming band in the scene
Nothing but fanboys. Nothing new, keep moving people.
The naked Mosher needs a permanent spot in this band as a hype person.. That's all this band will ever be.
I hate beatdown shit....this is f*cking terrible
love this band and Failure/Control. Haters can hate but they kill it
This band still f*cking blows... Left Behind is way better then any of this regurgitate dog shit f*ck this band
Yawns* Nothing new but a bunch of nerds jerking each other off
What someone else said "What did I just watch"
I'm late to this but Thumbs up to the naked mosher Thumbs down to this lame "downtempo" band
f*ck this band, shit's wack. Stereotypical suburban fart metal for kids who don't actually go to hardcore shows but want to look "tough". When these soft micropenis losers come to literally any hardcore show in the area and not their dork ass A-tuned metal shows I'll take them seriously.
