Weedeater "Claw of the Sloth" song premiere

North Carolina sludge metal veterans debut a track from their new full-length.

Weedeater

What self-respecting metal fan doesn't like some good old-fashioned stoner/sludge from time to time? One of the genre's flag-bearers, Weedeater, will be releasing a brand new album next month, so pay attention.

The North Carolina trio has dropping their brand of Southern sludge metal since 1998. With glacial, fuzzed out riffs, bruising drums, and incisive vocals, Weedeater is as reliable as they are heavy.

Their new album, Goliathan, will be available on May 19 through Season of Mist, and today we're happy to unveil a new track from the outing titled "Claw of the Sloth." Stream the song below and pre-order the album.
