Post CommentA good amount of people actually live there. Joel Omans (ex-Rings of Saturn guitarist) lives there and he says there's plenty of good metal and people who listen to it there.
^band records in half time then speeds it up #fail
I guess nobody really doesnt care about Phil Anselmo anymore... Where are the 90s when you need them...?!
at least 1200 people live in Spokane. BVB says so.
I can't imagine Gwar playing for 300 people and it being remotely fun...
A lot of the low attendances are because it is bad days of the week. The BVB show in Spokane was on a Saturday while the Down concert was on a Monday. A lot of people don't show up to shows between Monday and Wednesday. Either way kinda sad
Maybe the knitting factory is just a terrible venue.
sorry but Montreal metropolis is 2500 capacity, i work there
Check out the date of that Down show. December 15th in Spokane = suicidal blizzard
Boise, Idaho? They couldn't find a city that people actual remember exists to do this?
I think this says more about the venue than the bands. They are all shows that are done at The Knitting Factory. Im assuming the knitting factory all have horrible sound out something cuz they don't seem to sell tickets at all in any city
I'm convinced everyone that likes Machinehead doesn't tell anybody. Band sells out venues, but no one ever bothers to talk about them.
^^ HAHA! dude i was thinking the same thing! they draw huge, but who the hell is going!?
on another note with the whole Spokane thing, a lot of those metal bands come through here regularly almost every year. then when those "scene" bands come here, little sissies come out of the woodwork. and yes, i am trying to make myself believe that the people here actually like and support good music -_-
most true fans of underground music don't like going to the Knitting Factory because they treat their patrons like empty shells with cash in their pockets. most of the time they don't treat the local bands with very much respect either
there sure are a lot of venues called the knitting factory.
wanna know why spokane never sells tickets? BECAUSE NO ONE LIVES IN SPOKANE
