According to
The Guardian, two Maryland men were charged with attempted murder this week after allegedly assaulting their roommate for "disrespecting" the
Insane Clown Posse.
Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis stated that Paul Martin Hurst, 33, and Cary Lee Edwards, 35 attacked 31-year-old Zachary Swanson because he had disrespected Insane Clown Posse and "had to pay the consequences."
Not only did the pair beat Swanson, who suffered facial fractures, brain bleeding, broken ribs, and a lacerated liver, but they attempted to set his arm on fire in an attempt to remove a tattoo. Ultimately, Swanson's arm had to be amputated below the elbow.
As we've
detailed, ICP has been battling the Justice Department and FBI over the government's designation of the Juggalos as a gang. Cases like this probably won't help ICP's cause.
