Remember the controversial new Emmure song, "Bring A Gun To School," which was ultimately retitled (or rather untitled)? Well, the lyrics have now surfaced online and can be viewed below. Thoughts?

Get it through your f-cking head
All your friends are f-cking dead
Yeah they got what they deserved
Stop acting hard you know it hurts
Your loved ones living in the dirt

Holy f-cking shit
I'm having too much fun
Killing everyone
That you've ever loved

All your friends are f-cking dead
Yeah they got what they deserved
Stop acting hard you know it hurts
Your loved ones living in the dirt

Deep and melancholic words that evoke the soul.

What a phonomenal genius of our contemporary struggle.

Vanflip, please.

Censoring this band is stupid. It's dumb, heavy music. Nothing atypical. Being shocking is the point of most real heavy music. Decent free publicity for these guys though! Controversy aside, band sucked in the beginning, sucked in the middle, sucks now, will always suck.

This time I'M shocked.

I agree with the shocking part. I doubt Frankie wants to encourage anyone to bring a gun to school. There's not enough shock value in heavy music anymore plus blaming a band's lyrics for anything is as ignorant as parents claiming Maiden/Priest/Slayer back in the day promoted satanic rituals and killing.

The fact LambGoat made an entire post just for these lyrics means that what they were trying to accomplish worked. Talk is talk.

the april fools joke is that this band exists.

They should re-title it to "bring a faulty mic to an Emmure show"

You know what would really be shocking for them to do? Write something intelligent or thoughtful.

Shame on you Mark Castillo for joining this band, a band that is THIS offensive and would remind parents, friends and other loved ones that their baboes have been shot and the fcking lyrics are mocking such losses. Maybe someone will shoot your singer in bis goddamn face, and then a band will form just to write a song about him being dead and it being funny.

You used to be in good bands like Bury Your Dead,BTBAM, Hamartia and Piecemeal. Now you joined up with pieces of shit....sad....bring your talents to others who deserve it, b/c you deserve it too.

I really wish I could like the comments coming from some of you. Whoever posted that Mark needs to be with a band that deserves him and vice versa is completely correct. Mark with his drumming/talent should be doing MUCH better than what he is doing right now.

From what i've researched in past interviews this song is really how frankie probably felt when he was in school its a relatable feeling when you're bullied to want revenge. There are way more "offensive" bands out there too. Also if Mark was sooo talented then why is he not with btbam?
