Demi Lovato still name-dropping Job For A Cowboy
In case you have no idea what we're talking about here, Lovato first talked up Job For A Cowboy (along with Abigail Williams) on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in July 2009. Check it out:
The metal community was surprised, and gave her some cred at the time. Fast forward to December 2013, and Lovato is still talking about JFAC. Witness:
During the clip above, Lovato admits that she "hasn't listened to [metal] stuff in awhile." Clearly. At this point, she seems to be doing it for shock value, though she'd be better off bringing up Slayer, as I'm confident that less than %0.05 of her target demographic has heard of Job For A Cowboy. Then again, she did cite Bring Me The Horizon, which is much trendier.
Are you impressed?! I was actually more impressed when Tony Danza listened to The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza a few years ago. Blast beats!

http://i2.cdnds.net/13/06/ 618x798/demi-lovato-1.jpg she has an inverted cross tattoo on her wrist/hand. Is it really that surprising?
CLEARLY, SHE'S DOING IT FOR SHOCK VALUE DERP Don't editorialize, you sound like a fcking idiot.
What concerns me is why anyone is concerned about this to begin with. Maybe she listens to them, maybe she doesn't, who gives a fck.
It's probably not an intentional inverted cross. privileged white girls have a thing where they get tattoos upside down so they can see them and not other people.
is anyone surprised by her name dropping "scene" bands. Look at her. She was most definitely a myspace skank from back in the day. It just so happened she could kind of sing and won a televised karaoke competition. So of course she's going to say she used to listen to JFAC and BMTH. She thinks it makes her look "edgy" with her blue hair streak.
