The new Slipknot album has topped the U.S. album charts.

Slipknot's new studio album, .5: The Gray Chapter, sold roughly 132,000 copies in the United States in its first week, enough to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. This is the second No. 1 album for the band, whose 2008 album All Hope Is Gone, also topped the chart on the strength of nearly 240,000 units in first-week sales.
