Official press release: Richmond, Indiana father and daughter grindcore duo Sockweb rocketed to viral fame when they released the hilariously wonderful 'I Want Pancakes' quickly soaring to over 100,000 plays. Now the pair are gearing up to release their full length debut record which has survived not only hardware problems but a family environment. There's proof positive that this is something truly special! 'Werewolf' is now set for a release through Monolithic Records after a sterling success of a crowd funding campaign and a stellar mastering job by Scott Hull of Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed fame. The debut album, which will be available in a variety of formats including a special digipack edition, will be released next month (just in time for Christmas!), but in the meantime the band have released the ''Bullies are Mean EP' which consists of the four original songs released by the project with a slick remaster from Scott Hull. The remastered EP is available digitally for the price of a sole, singular $1 (or for free if you got involved in the crowd funding program) and is the perfect teaser for the release of 'Werewolf' for both long term fans and new converts alike. 'Werewolf' will be available for purchase in December via Monolithic Records.
