Editorial Reviews
Machine Head hit the ground running in 1994 with their debut Burn My Eyes and have been on the fast track upwards ever since. This new release promises to outdo it's predecessor and is already turning heads amongst the industry. Highlights include the first single "Ten Ton Hammer," "Take My Scars" and "Stuck a Nerve."

How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019Early Machine Head (their first two albums) produced some amazing thrash metal. After their second album, The More Things Change, Machine Head made a significant stylistic change and began to gravitate towards a more commercial metal style and away from their original sounds. While their later work isn't terrible, it just doesn't compare.
This album, along with Burn My Eyes (their first album), are definitely worth checking out if you're a fan a thrash metal.
5/5
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2014I listened to this album before buying it for my brother having never heard it before and I was blown away by how perfect it is. The music is pure metal bliss and the lyrics as growled and screamed as they may be are just as superb.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2017Machine Head's second record is almost devoid of the socio/political commentary on its seminal debut. Still, this is arguably heavier than its predecessor. "Ten Ton Hammer, "Struck A Nerve" and "Down To None" are hardcore infused metal cuts that still pack a punch 20 years later. This record is easily one of the best in the band's discography and strangely overlooked. This is the band's last truly heavy release until 2003's "Through The Ashes of Empires." It's well worth the purchase.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2020Awesome LP! Recommended if you’re a MH fan.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2015Classic heavy Machine Head. Some of the heaviest chunky old school metal you can find and is a must for any metal head collection.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2013I'm a big fan of Machine Head and this album is up there with there best. I have all their albums and this is a good metal band.

5.0 out of 5 stars 90s as it's best...
