Limp Bizkit performed yesterday (Saturday, October 6) at the Rock Allegiance festival in Camden, NJ and during the band's rendition of "Faith," someone attempted to drop kick
Fred Durst. Apparently, that someone was none other than
Shaggy 2 Dope of
Insane Clown Posse, who also performed at the fest.
If you watch the footage below, it certainly appears that Shaggy wasn't trying to hurt Durst, who stumbled forward slightly and said, "what a pussy, he couldn't even pull it off." Shaggy was then dragged off stage by security.
A report over at
MetalSucks included this information: "What's not presently clear is whether or not Mr. 2 Dope sincerely intended to hurt Mr. Durst. One concertgoer, noting that the two have collaborated before, says that Durst 'shouted out ICP earlier in the set', and 2 Dope's body language (e.g., throwing horns, running lackadaisically, etc.) does not suggest any earnest aggression."
Either way, I'm quite certain that it was the highlight of Limp Bizkit's set (no, I didn't watch it).
