With an eclectic approach to intense music that resides somewhere in the rock and post-hardcore realm, The New Age has garnered a sizeable following in short order. On Friday (February 23), the Ohio natives will release their debut full-length, Placebo. The outing was produced by Nick Ingram (Hawthorne Heights, City Lights), mastered by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep), and is available for pre-order now.

Vocalist Justin Cotton had this to say about the meaning behind Placebo: "Placebo is for my brother and my mother, and how even though life can seem so hopeless and everything is always going wrong, addiction, mental illness, rage, hate; none of these things matter with love and truly caring for one another."

In advance of its release, we're exclusively streaming the new record below. Have a listen and if you're into it, check out The New Age on Facebook.
