Official press release: With their sophomore effort, Old Souls, due out this Friday (June 17), Coloradian metal outfit Wayfarer break the stereotypical 'European black metal' mold by "basing their sound firmly in America's dusty plains and sandblasted outlaws" (Noisey). Recorded by Shane Howard (Martriden, Khemmis) while being mixed and mastered by Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Cobalt), the nearly 50 minute long effort presents a powerful and eternal sound reminiscent of day-to-day life in Colorado. Listen to an advance stream of Old Souls along with an in-depth interview with vocalist/guitarist Shane McCarthy on the band's influences via Noisey here.
