Formed in 1992, Long Island's Vision of Disorder signed with Roadrunner Records/Supersoul (Shelter frontman Ray Cappo's label) nearly four years after its inception and a CDEP on Striving For Togetherness Records ("Still" CDEP, 1995). During its stint on Roadrunner/Supersoul, the band would release its "Self-titled" full-length (AKA the green album) in 1996, and "Imprint" in 1998. VOD would part ways with Roadrunner/Supersoul, but would release "For the Bleeders," a CD which featured re-recorded tracks of the band's earlier works and demos. "For the Bleeders" would be released via punk label Go-Kart Records (Anti-Flag, Buzzcocks). VOD's hard work ethic and perseverance would eventually lead to a deal with TVT Records, and its release of "From Bliss to Devastation" in 2001, though the band has been vocal about TVT's lack of support since the record's release. Playing eerie metalcore with a plethora of grooves and riffs, VOD has built its fanbase through plenty of live shows along side Sick of it All, Glassjaw, Sepultura, and a slot on Ozzfest. read less
