Since then, it has quickly made a name for itself in the hardcore scene by playing numerous shows, and releasing its debut full-length, 'Feast for the New Gods,' on Florida's Eulogy Recordings. Although the band retains musical elements of its previous efforts, Santa Sangre focuses on composing well crafted songs by fusing driving metalcore, heavy mosh riffs, and a bit of stoner-rock, drawing influences from Black Sabbath, Another Victim, and Damnation A.D. Add throaty vocals and dark lyrics, and you have an idea of what Santa Sangre was like. The band called it quits in late-2001, as members moved on to various acts including The Promise, Nemesis, and One Against All. Most notably, The Promise (also known as True Love, with ex-members of Another Victim, Turmoil, One King Down) is expected to release a CDEP/7"EP on Deathwish Inc.
