Atlanta, Georgia's Downpour formed in 1996, and play a brand of music dubbed "Maximum punk rock." Striving for musical creativity and lyrics expressing their frustration about the present cultural infrastructure, the band released an EP in 1999 on Jawk Records, entiltled 'No Lie Can Live Forever.' Recently, the band released a full-length on Alveran Records, 'Footsteps Over Our Heads.' Since its inception, Downpour has played alongside the likes of Indecision, Bane, Botch, and Poison the Well, all over the East Coast.
