There was a huge buzz about this album before its release. Much of the hype stemmed from Ross Robinson's involvement in the project. We were neither amazed nor disappointed with this album. The songs are very emotional and emo-core sounding. Much has been made of vocalist Daryl Palumbo. He certainly doesn't lack energy. However, what he brings to the effort, he also takes away. He sings a bit too much, and his tortured vocals reduce the entire dynamic of the album. This is a good album, but as they say, "to emphasize everything is to emphasize nothing." Glassjaw has major potential, but they need to modify their approach a bit.

The buzz around this band is stupid.... Daryll is horrible he drags down the music (which isn't bad.) Oh, real cool to wish someone cancer to them and their family because they don't like a shitty band.... Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Sucking.
