def not that great of an album. i'm surprised the guy didn't point out all the synths used on this record.

i also applaud them; they make more money playing simple music that kids f*cking go nuts to. their live shows are fun as hell; and of course the record sounds like shit. who cares? it's fun. i don't know a single person that actually listens to this, but i do know many people that love to see them live.
i wonder how many bags of jewels they will be able to afford with the money they make from this albums' sales...

pretty solid review. i doubt i'll ever listen to this, but 3 seems a little too low even for this. i was thinking like a 4 just because its bury your dead.
i have to agree this album is beyond cheesy and has some pretty nu metal singing and over all probably their worst album to date, but they've never been a ground breaking and have always pretty much focused on being cheesy as hell. And regardless of the fact that it's "musical garbage" and is for "simpletons" they're pretty fun live. if i want to go see a band for their musicianship and creativity i'll go see isis, but some times bands like this are fun to go see live too

I haven't heard this album but I don't need to. All I want to know is why generic, repetitive, simpleton hardcore is praised on this site while shit like BYD is trashed automatically. They both suck. It's just cooler to hate on BYD, ain't it?
mykes Audi is really nice. hopefully this record sells enough so he can buy an S4 or even a RS4 and sell me his A4. Review is dead on, though i think a 3 is rather harsh.

This band really really sucks, every album they put out should get a 0 no matter what.
BYD has always sucked, will continue to suck as long as they keep making "music". If I was rich, I would slaughter the people responsible for this trash. Buy my way out of prison, and make the world a better place having done so.
Bottom Line: This cd sounds like a heavier Sevendust rip off.

I like their first two CDs. Cover Your Tracks is pretty cool still. "Beauty and the Breakdown" was cringe-worthy a lot, but had a few decent songs. This shit...I listened for 20 seconds, then noticed they had "Magnolia" on their site too.

guitars sound like asssss, songwriting is assssss, vocals are by far the best appendage of this album

I know nothing about the politics of this band, the label, their shows, nothing. In my unbiased opinion, I give this album 8/10 for the music alone.

whatever. recognizing and understanding talent is different for everyone in who's the 10/10 of the moment and who's the 1/10.
this album is the worst piece of sh*t i've ever heard, i had to go make a mountain in the toilet after hearing 1 song. "you had me at hello" was generic and meant for simpletons, but still 10 times better than this shit.
Holy crap this album was unpopular among some bitchasses here. No surprise there. This album stood the test of time and it still kicks ass today. Lamegoat commenters do not.
