Sweet Cobra wrecks van

Over the weekend, members of Chicago's Sweet Cobra were in a serious van accident. Here's what they had to say about it:
"So, after Sweet Cobra played Beat Kitchen this past Saturday, Grumpy (our guitar player) was driving the Suicide Note van back to the space, full of gear. The brakes went out and he rear ended a Jeep that stopped in front of him doing about 35 to 40 mph. Then he hit 2 parked cars as he tried to pull off to the side. The gear ripped through the plywood loft that had been built into the van. There was an ambulance nearby that saw it and came over. The passenger of the Jeep asked to be taken to the ER since he was shaken up a bit. So yeah, the van is fucked, plus 3 other cars. Grumps is ok (thank Jah), but his feelings are a little hurt and who knows what's going to happen in the legal realm of this thing. Court date is in late march...wish us luck. So look out for a benefit show at some point, I'm sure..."
