Beach Rats band 2018

There's a new hardcore band out there called Beach Rats, and their roster boasts some notable members, including Ari Katz (Lifetime), Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty), Pete Steinkopf (The Bouncing Souls), and Brian Kienlen (The Bouncing Souls).

Details are sketchy, but the band recently recorded their debut record, a five-song EP that will surface later this year.

I remember in the early days of the internet when the news broke that lifetime members were no longer straight edge. I'm going to say it was summer of 96. Sound familiar?

Minor Threat will finally do a reunion with Brian Baker as the only former member and Dennis Lynxzen on vocals. They will play the entire discography followed by an encore of Dag Nasty, Bad Religion and Refused songs. It will be well received by the audience. One year later Ian Mackaye will be seen in a Coke commercial, which was arranged for him by Henry Rollins. Coca Cola's stock will stagnate for several months.

People crying over who is or is not still straight edge = 1st World problems at their finest. Why does anyone truly care if someone isn't straight edge anymore if it's NOT a gang? Nobody cares if someone isn't in the Teamsters anymore or dropped their juice diet.

Hey Ari Katz I thought you hated hardcore? You certainly have your nose up to NJHC.

I guess Lifetime isn't trying to be the next Fall Out Boy anymore - sellouts.

Dan Yemin once told me he hates Killing Time. That is all you need to know about Lifetime. Herbs.

holy shit - what a bunch of sad haters you all are. (these comments)
Get a fcking life people - if you don't want to listen to a band, don't listen. start your own. put your name on something if you're going to talk shit. go produce something.
