Motorhead guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke dies

Eddie Clarke, the sole surviving member of Motörhead's "classic" line-up, passed away yesterday at the age of 67. According to an announcement from the band's Facebook page, Clarke "passed peacefully in hospital where he was being treated for pneumonia."

"Fast" Eddie was a member of Motörhead from 1976 until 1982 and appeared on their Motörhead, Overkill, Ace of Spades, Bomber, No Sleep 'til Hammersmith, and Iron Fist records.

Webby didn't post the other part of the announcement. With this death, after Lemmy and Philthy, the band name is now officially being changed: Motordead.

RIP great guy and guitarist would give you the strings off his fret-board.
Ace of Spades was their biggest hit song...but it's a complete rip off of Hawkwinds "Kings of speed" and yes i know lemmy played in hawkwind but strangely kings of speed is the last song on the last album he worked on and also is the only song he sang on......plot thickens.
