Rings Of Saturn album debuts in Billboard Top 100

Tuesday, August 08, 2017 6:51 AM PT

Ultu Ulla, the new album from California technical death metal/deathcore unit Rings Of Saturn, has debuted at No. 76 on the Billboard on the strength of 7,896 in first-week sales in the United States.

The showing represents both the band's highest selling and highest charting album debuts to date.

Their previous album, 2014's Lugal Ki En, sold 3,025 copies in its first week and debuted at No. 126 on the Billboard 200.

The band's first two albums, Embryonic Anomaly (2010) and Dingir (2012), failed to register on the aforementioned chart.

Yeah no way they sold 8000 copies. Manager or label bought 6000 copies.

And yet Lucas can't make his own goddamn band's summer tour because he'd rather sit around jacking off and posting retarded memes on his family's dime.

Can 100% confirm fake sound scans, especially considering most of their "fans" don't even realize this album has released. To go from appx 3,000 scans on their last effort to 8,000 with even less hype than they've had before should be a major red flag. Hopefully this gets exploited soon because this is one band that is undeserving.

Could it be because they're giving out copies of their garbage CD to everyone that walks through the door at their shows?

For a band to have gone from a very minor stepping stone label with a U.S. exclusive deal to one of the biggest metal labels with a worldwide deal and SUBSTANTIALLY more distribution and promotion, it definitely makes sense that their sales have more than doubled since their last record. On top of the fact that the band has grown a pretty good bit in the past THREE years since Lugal's release, playing higher up on bigger and better tours...

BREAKING NEWS: Rings Of Saturn respond to fake album sales by releasing video of them selling copies in front of a wall of clocks.

"...playing higher up on bigger and better tours."

Then explain their damn near opening slot on this year's Summer Slaughter. By your logic, they should be direct support or pretty close to it.

There was a very good album rollout and full force promotion by the label for this album. Streaming music has changed the sales game since their last album on top of that. And the album is actually really well done
