Ten years ago today, influential Southern California band Eighteen Visions (18V) played what was expected to be their final show. A decade later, they've officially resurfaced and will soon release their first new studio album since 2006.

On June 2, Eighteen Visions (vocalist James Hart, guitarist Keith Barney, and drummer Trevor Friedrich) will release a new record titled XVIII through Rise Records (pre-orders are available). The album was recorded in Orange County, CA with UK transplant, multi-instrumentalist, and band friend Mick Kenney (of Anaal Nathrakh) producing. Among its tracks is "Live Again," a tribute to bassist Mick Morris, who passed away in 2013. A video for the album's lead single, "Oath," is online now and can be viewed below along with the record's track listing.

Meanwhile, 18V will return to the stage for the first time since 2007 on Friday, June 2 for a record release show at The Observatory in Orange County. Tickets can be found here.

it took them 11 years to write a song with 3 chords in it?

No, it clearly did not. Even the gimmicks could do better, you slob. Quite a few of the gays here were listening until vanity was released.

It's A STRAIGHTEDGE MOSH Anthem. I'm fine with this.

About damn time. Glad they stepped away from making their own words like "tonightless" and went back to what works.

Forgot to mention Josh James (Stick To Your Guns,Evergreen Terrace) is their live rhythm guitarist.
I was really hoping to see Brandan Schieppati apart of this.

That would actually be sick^^ but he's too roided up and all about lifting now

Ken Floyd's edge didn't go anywhere. Brandon isn't a part of the band because he wasn't for years before they broke up, and because he's a sell out.

Due to the countless cringe-worthy detracting, as well as an overall lack of significant content, I am officially putting this persona on hiatus. No ones should be subjected to the daily trite balderdash that is continuously spewed by masquerading imbeciles. When Suicide Silence return to form and release their inevitable redemption masterpiece, I will drop the next and only official take. NU HATE x 2k18 EXHUME

Glad to hear these guys have stopped trying to sound like Creed. This song is good, love the straightedge mosh. I just can't handle how stylized this band has always been.
