Official press release:

Animals As Leaders kick off the New Year with a massive headlining North American tour on Feb. 24th with After The Burial, Navene Koperweis and Chon. The first batch of dates are listed below and more will be announced in the coming weeks. Animals As Leaders debut Sumerian Records album is targeted for March release and a new track will surface online in late January.

Javier Reyes states: "We are definitely very excited about our upcoming headliner as it's been over two years since we did our last headlining North American tour. I think we have chosen a line-up that consist of extremely talented acts. Our labelmates, After the Burial, are a band we have yet to ever share the same stage with, so we are definitely looking forward to that. Ex-AAL drummer Navene Koperweis is coming out and performing solo and Chon are a very cool band we think people will enjoy.

"However, we are mostly excited about finally playing new material. I think some of the new tracks are some of AAL's strongest and musical material yet, so I am looking forward to seeing the crowd reactions. I am really happy how the album is coming out. Everyone who took part with this album (Misha Mansoor, Adam Getgood, Diego Farias, and Navene Koperweis) is extremely talented and I think we've done a great job of capturing it onto what is now the third Animals As Leaders album. See you all soon."

You realize that Navenes music is not dubstep, right? Is that what people who listen to metal think that every bass heavy electro artist makes?

I saw Navene give Tosin, Javier, both Matts, and Chebon a good old fashioned Dirty Carl in a black neighborhood once.

Can't wait to see After the Burial on tour. I love this band, and since the did such a shitty job of recording their new album I waited for 3 +years for its the only way I can tolerate to listen to their new material. Please remember to go to a real studio and record live drums next time. Your not a local band, and the quality of the new album SUCKS ASS!
