Official press release:
Canada's black/death destroyers
Weapon have made a name for themselves as one of the most crushing new bands to come along in the extreme metal underground over the past few years. After two successful underground LPs, the band announced earlier this year that they had joined forces with
Relapse Records and would be recording their third full length offering. Soon after, the band embarked on one of the most evil tours of the year, joining forces with Marduk and 1349.
Now, Weapon has completed work on their most blasphemous work yet and will release 'Embers and Revelations' on October 9th. The new effort is certainly the band's finest work to date and will find an instant connection to fans of Behemoth, Deicide, Morbid Angel and Septicflesh. The album artwork was created by
Benjamin Vierling and can be viewed
here. An album teaser can be seen below:

Sounds weak. Maybe I am used to heavier 8-string stuff now because this stuff doesn't feel heavy or intense at all...
