Abigail Williams working on new album

Thursday, June 14, 2012 6:04 AM PT

Los Angeles, CA metal/black metal outfit Abigail Williams will reportedly enter the studio this fall to begin work on their fourth full-length. The band is currently booking a summer/fall tour, and tentatively expects to begin pre-production in October.

Two weeks ago Abigail Williams frontman and songwriter Ken Sorceron was asked to describe the new material:

"Same stuff as before really. We have enough songs for a full-length written right now (4 songs, haha) but we will just keep writing until it's time to record and see what sticks. So far it's slower and heavier, but who knows."

Abigail needs to stop trying and bring Kyds vs. Columbus back permanently.

Liked this band until I met them. Too cool for school and their new stuff is so boring live. Their old keyboardist gives good head though.

^^Agreed...At least make it sound like "It's the heaviest album we've done" blah blah blah...Will maybe download it

What an uninspired way to describe your new album, I don't even know if I'd waste five minutes downloading it.

Listen to WITTR's Black Cascade. You will have then heard this and both the old and upcoming albums from Abigail Williams all simultaneously.

What a bunch of gays are on here. You complain when bands describe their new albums and when a band finally speaks the truth you bitch about it. Can't wait until school is back in session so shit like this doesn't happen...that being said, Demi Lovato is stoked.

I actually gained respect for the modest words about the new album. I'm sick of fucks saying they're about to drop the equivalent of an A-Bomb on the unsuspecting fans of metal and frrrrrttrrrttttt

Their newest album (Just came out a few months ago, no?)was awesome musically but the drums sounded so terrible it killed the album for me. I hope they get good recording/production this time around. They were supposed to work with Michael Keene of the Faceless last time but that fell through. Maybe they can make it happen this time?

Becoming was trash and new stuff doesn't seem like its going to sound anything like In The Absence Of Light so I don't really care. They just released a new album? Why rush to create a new one?
