Illinois post-hardcore/rock band Planes Mistaken For Stars, who disbanded in 2008, will be touring the East Coast in August. Here's the latest schedule:

Pretty sure they are not playing the "Red Room" since that is the bar section of the Black Cat - probably playing back stage. Saw their final tour. They were good.
