ex-Into Eternity guitarist passes away

Rob Doherty, former guitar player for Canadian metal band Into Eternity, has passed away. Cause of death has not been specified publicly.
Doherty was a member of Into Eternity from 2003 until 2005, and was most recently a member of Final Darkness, who have issued the following statement:
"It is with incredible sadness that we must say goodbye to our brother Rob - you will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you...thank you for being a part of our lives. May you find peace, my friend..."
