Dark Funeral, Abigail Williams tour cancelled

Swedish metal band
Dark Funeral has postponed their upcoming
North American tour with
Abigail Williams et al. The trek was to kick off in late-January and run through February. Dark Funeral has issued the following statement:
"It is with great regret that we have to inform you today that our North American Tour has to be postponed. Due to circumstances and events way beyond our control, there is no other way but to postpone these dates. And yes, our triumphant return to the United States Of America is definitely not cancelled, but postponed. And we will try to announce the new North American tourdates as soon as possible, so you better stay tuned!"
Meanwhile, Abigail Williams had the following to say:
"Yes, it's true, the Dark Funeral tour is cancelled. In light of this we are working on booking our own DIY headlining shows across the US in addition to the week of headlining dates we already have booked. So far we have shows in Worcester and Trenton confirmed and we will be posting more as we get them booked. anyone interested in helping out email ksorceron@gmail.com. be sure to check our dates section for updated dates as they come."

Thank fucking god. Probably realized not a single soul would attend so it's best they saved some money and time.

Yeah, Inquisition was going to be on it, so we were going to go see. I mean, Abigail is kind of gay, but Dark Funeral is okay and Inquision is awesome, sooo...ya' know....

hate it when bands cancel a tour and say its due to "events way beyond our control" or "personal reasons". its so fucking rude to their fans. they at least deserve a real explanation

Dark Funeral is from Sweden. It's sometimes difficult to travel across the globe and tour when your're not a huge band like U2. I will be listening for future North American dates.

Abigail Williams actually does a lot of DIY touring on their own so I'm thinking they will successfully book a decent tour.
