Friday, September 09, 2011 10:18 AM PT
Norma Jean has spent the last few weeks writing material for their next album. The group has produced demos for five tracks thus far, recording with Adam Putman (brother of Norma Jean singer Cory Putman) at Insomniac Studios in Fayetteville, AR. According to the band, "We are losing our minds for what is shaping so far from these sessions." A mid-2012 release for the album is tentatively planned.

loved bless the martyr kiss the child and o god the aftermath but never really listened to anything after that. will give it a listen when it comes out if i get around to it.

They lost their mindss after bless the martyr and kiss the child because everything they came out with after SUCKS HORSE DICK! (note the captial letters to further emphasize how badly norma ghey is lame)

yeah, i'm not really stoked, meridional was kind of shitty as was the anti-mother. o god and bless the martyr were the only worthwhile albums they released. if they do anything good, then i might get stoked.

I liked the first half of Meridional. Interested in hearing new material.
9/9/2011 10:57:30 PM
Do they have any original members anymore?
9/10/2011 7:30:46 AM
I think just one original member is left. I liked them when they were Luti-Kriss

remembering how much i fucking loved bless the martyr back in whatever year that was is so odd. I USED TO HATE CELL PHONES NOW I HATE CAR ACCIDENTS

A shotgun message inspired my AIM name that I held for years to come. I'll admit it. Fuck it.

All of their music has been truly unique. From their debut in 2002, all the way to their latest.
Norma Jean is a tue musical inspiration that should be appreciated no matter individuals' music taste.
Don't hate—appreciate.
