Official press release:
Mountain Man has entered the studio with Alex Garcia-Rivera (American Nightmare, Saves The Day, Shelter) to begin tracking their debut full-length, "Grief." Drummer Pat Murphy comments on the on-going session:
"Since our first conversation with Alex, we knew he would be perfect to capture the mood we are trying to achieve. He's been a musician we have all admired for years."
Expected for release early on in the new year via Think Fast! Records, "Grief" aims to combine the strongest elements of Mountain Man's previous works, while adding several broader influences. Murphy explains, "it is much darker, more atmospheric and lyrically more bleak."
Stay tuned for more updates on Mountain Man and don't forget to catch them on the road later this month along side Outbreak, Hour Of The Wolf, and The Menzingers as part of the Think Fast! showcase tour. The band will follow up their showcase run with east coast dates supporting Four Year Strong.
