Official press release:

Good Fight Music presents Extinction by Design, the new EP by Homewrecker, out October 14th.

Skating the line between brute-force hardcore punk and the evil death-thrash of old-school '80s Slayer, Homewrecker has built its name over the past five years, releasing albums on A389 Recordings and touring with the likes of Integrity, Madball, and Full of Hell.

New EP Extinction by Design, the band's first release for new label home Good Fight, was recorded and mixed by Andy Nelson (Harm's Way, Eternal Sleep), and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Full of Hell).

Homewrecker frontman Matt Barnum cites influence from Swedish death machines like Grave, and crust punkers like Tragedy, as well as the undeniable Slayer. Barnum says the new EP's lyrics range from the local ("hometown drug abusers and crooked people"), to the global ("the world's resources being depleted, and how little our government values life"), to the historical ("stories of French Revolution torture methods").

Guest vocalists Alvino Salcedo (Of Feather and Bone) and John Hoffman (Weekend Nachos) lend their screams to the songs "Extinction by Design" and "Caged Existence," respectively.

Tracklist:

1. Extinction by Design
2. Prophet Liar
3. Caged Existence
4. Path of Terror
