Norwegian heavy metal band Kvelertak
has confirmed plans to release a new album this spring. The effort will be titled Nattesferd
and is scheduled to hit stores on May 13 via Roadrunner Records
. A new song titled "1985" can be streamed below. Kvelertak had this to say regarding the record:
We are very happy with this beast that we've created, we can't wait for you guys to hear it! First taste from the record will come in the form of a dystopian rock'n'roll anthem titled '1985', this tune will be available from your usual digital outlets on Friday. We're also stoked on our upcoming US tour with Torche and Wild Throne where we'll be performing a lot of a new material, this will be the first chance to witness the new songs if May seems too far away."
