Keith Barney, guitarist of
Eighteen Visions/
Throwdown, has started a record label (to coincide with his existing design firm) along with Phil Samartan and Matt Mentley (
Matoe). The label/firm is called
The Plan Audio/Visual (
website) and their focuses will be the record label, graphic design, and web design. The label's first release will be by
Capsize, an Orange County band in the vein of Glassjaw. The group is currently in the studio recording their debut full-length, which should be out this summer.
