Indianapolis, IN metal outfit The Contortionist have officially entered the studio to begin working on their yet to be titled new album.
The band has tapped Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me) to produce, with tracking and mixing at to take place at The Basement Recording Studio in Winston-Salem, NC.
Guitarist Robby Baca comments on what fans can expect:
"We're pretty stoked to be in the studio again, especially with Jamie King. Some of my favorite records have come out of this corner of the woods, here in Winston-Salem, NC. We're also unquestionably psyched about Mike Lessard's voice on these new tracks. This record seems to be a good mix of old and new TC, and Mike's wide range of animal noises should make this one a real banger."
Guitarist Cameron Maynard adds, "These new songs are extremely refreshing and I cannot think of a more ideal place to watch our creation come to life."
The new album will be released via eOne Music/Good Fight Music.
